Here at the Wanderlust Boudoir Studio, we mix Fantasy with the world Boudoir to create something completely magical.

The Luxury Sessions

For the Client who wants it All. To spend the day at my studio, take advantage of all the different studio rooms and Luxury Client Closet items, and really have some fun, experiment, and make some Amazing Art

The Adventure Sessions

Want to explore the magic and wilderness of Appalachia? Have a Couple's or Solo session out to one of my favorite gorgeous locations around the Chattanooga area. Locations range up to 1 hour (ish) drive away and include amazing lakes, waterfalls, rivers, forest, and mountain locations. We'll either make it fun and candid (in the case of most my Couples) or we can create an actual fantasy concept and go wild with costumes and create something magical!

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Scheduling Your Session Date

Boudoir Sessions at the Wanderlust Studio take place Wednesday-Saturday. Generally scheduled in the afternoons/evenings. I know I’m not a morning person, and I don’t expect my clients to be! Even if we want to create a natural, bright ‘daytime’ look, I can create that lighting with my studio lights! So we aren’t pressured to start shooting at a specific time, unless you’re wanting an Adventure Session where we’re going to a specific location.

If you’re wanting an Adventure Session and we’re shooting outdoors, I do often recommend shooting at Sunrise, especially if it’s a popular location, and especially if we’re wanting to do a more ‘Boudoir’ look. That way we can be a bit more private with less chance of surprise hikers as guests.

For those sessions, if it includes Styling, we’ll meet at my studio, and I’ll drive you out to the location. If we’re not including styling, we’ll pick a public location (near actual wifi and data) to meet at near the actual shooting location. Since many of my locations are out in National Parks and/or out in the Boonies, meeting somewhere with cellular service beforehand, always works best!

2. Preparation

Now don’t worry, most everyone who comes into the studio don’t know what to do or how to prepare.  I will be sending you an in depth lingerie guide, as well as my Tips & Tricks guide, and plenty of other items to go through, to help you prepare the best for your Boudoir Experience.

The biggest thing before your boudoir experience is to be stretching and drinking ALL the water. Start getting hydrated and limber AT LEAST 2 weeks before your session.

5. Your Session Day

Coming from me, your dedicated Boudoir photographer, I don’t want you to stress about anything during your session. I know you won’t know what you are doing. Just leave that up to me! I will pose, guide, and direct you every step of the way, making sure that you look your absolute Best! All the way from the tips of your toes to the top of your beautiful head! I’ll even make a fool of myself, demonstrating the poses for you, making sure you know exactly what to do! My goal is to bring out your awesome features, personality, and help you see the Amazing person you are inside and out!

Day of, if you’re investing in a Full session that includes styling: we’ll get you into the studio, go over what you’ve brought (wardrobe-wise) and what I have in my Client Closet, make a gameplan that fits the vision we want to achieve, and then jump into Hair & Makeup!

Before even starting one pose, we’ll go through a light and fun round of stretches, that way we’re Both nice and limber for the workout ahead (and yes it is a workout!) But, it’s a fun workout! There will be a ton of laughter and a Lot of Body image boosting to be had!

And, if you would like to addon anything to your session, day of, we most definitely can! But, if you know you’d like to add them on, letting me know beforehand will definitely be a help. Especially with setting up additional rooms or making sure we have specific Luxury Client Closet items.
